Stage 1: Online Qualification Round

Stage 2: In-Person Build

  • Event dates: 25-26 September 2026
  • Location: Bangalore, India
  • Format: 24-hour overnight build, starting 11:00 AM on Day 1 and running through to Main Stage finals on Day 2

Eligibility

  • Open to individuals aged 18 and above.
  • Teams may consist of 1 to 2 members, cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) are encouraged but not required.
  • Open to experienced and early-stage builders and professionals.
  • Previously created project ideas can be referenced but all material submitted during stage 1 and project built during stage 2, should be from scratch and unique to this hackathon.
  • Stage 1 (online qualification) is open to participants from anywhere.
  • Stage 2 (in-person build) is limited to shortlisted teams only, and requires being physically present in Bangalore for the full 24-hour duration. Remote participation is not available at this stage.
  • Travel and accommodation to Bangalore for shortlisted teams are self-funded and not covered by TGPF or the hackathon sponsors.
  • Each individual may be part of only one team.

What to Build

Your project must address one of the 3 problem statement tracks:

• Track 1 — Customer & Employee Experience: agents built on Freshworks Agent Studio, MCP, and multi-agent orchestration.

• Track 2 — Platform Agent Skills & Knowledge: reusable skills, MCP integrations, and the Freshworks developer platform.

• Track 3 — AI-native Enterprise (Open): open canvas, any stack, greenfield agentic products.

Examples
Track 1: Customer Experience & Employee Onboarding Agents

Voice Support Agent — handles a support conversation, identifies intent, takes actions and hands off to a human when needed.

Employee Policy Agent — answers HR/policy questions and proactively guides employees through relevant processes.

Track 2: Platform Agent Skills & Knowledge

Universal Company Knowledge Agent — connects Slack, docs, CRM, tickets and internal wikis to answer questions with context.

Knowledge-to-Action Agent — doesn't just retrieve information; converts company knowledge into actions and workflows.

Agent Handoff Skill — intelligently decides when one specialist agent should hand a task to another.

Track 3: AI-Native Enterprise Agents

AI Chief of Staff — monitors meetings, emails, tasks and priorities, then proactively drives follow-ups and decisions.

AI Operations Manager — monitors business metrics, detects anomalies and coordinates agents/teams to resolve them.

Autonomous Sales Agent — researches prospects, identifies intent, personalises outreach and manages follow-ups.

AI Finance Controller — monitors transactions, identifies anomalies, reconciles data and flags exceptions for human approval.

Projects can be at any stage of fidelity for Stage 1, from a clickable prototype to an early working build. What matters is that the idea and its value are clear. Teams that advance to Stage 2 will build on and evolve their Stage 1 submission during the 24-hour in-person sprint.

What to Submit

Stage 1 (Online Qualification):

  1. A Figma prototype or working demo of your idea
  2. A written submission covering the problem addressed, your proposed solution, and why your team is the right one to build it
  3. A 1-2 minute video walkthrough (Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo)
  4. Team details: names, roles, and one line of relevant experience per member
  5. Previously created or used project idea can be referenced but all material submitted should be from scratch and unique to this particular hackathon.

Stage 2 (In-Person Build, Shortlisted Teams Only):

  1. A working prototype or demo built during the 24-hour window, ready to demo live
  2. An updated project description covering what was built, the tech stack used, and how the idea evolved from Stage 1
  3. A public code repository link (GitHub or equivalent) with a clear README
  4. A live demo on the Main Stage in front of judges and the TGPF audience
  5. Previously existing projects can be referenced but submitted. The build needs to be from scratch during the hackathon.
